Former North American Latin Champion and US representative at the World Championships, he went on to star as a principal with the ABrT, performing all over the world for 6 years. At the same time he began to share his knowledge and love of dance with kids in Brooklyn, NY, which then grew to a 6 location machine all over the greater NY area. Under his tutelage hundreds of kids have gone on to national and international stardom. Many of them are current teachers, adjudicators, studio owners and stars of TV shows all over the world. That led to his induction into the prestigious Millennium Hall Of Fame as a teacher of kids....First of it's kind.

Professional dancer, choreographer and teacher with 20+ years of experience. Specializing in Ballroom, Latin and Social dances, wedding and group choreographies in both American and International styles. Winner of numerous prestigious Croatian and international titles, Maria has been featured on local TV and in print as an outstanding athlete, dancer and teacher. The training program that she co-founded is still taught throughout Croatia and sponsored by the Croatian Department of Culture. Many of her students have gone on to win domestic and international competitions.

Founder of the internationally renowned Folk Dance Troupe of Poltava, Ukraine. Co-creator of several National and International Dance Festivals meant to popularize the culture of Classical, Modern classical and Folk styles of Dance.

Born into a family of dancers, Oleg began his dance journey at a tender age of 5. After competing in Moldova in both International Standard and Latin styles, he went on to become Moldovan Junior Champion as well as to compete internationally, which eventually led him to become a teacher in the US. Oleg ran his own dance studio for several years before joining our team. He specializes in pro/am and choreography for wedding couples.

Professional Dancer and Choreographer in the world of Hip Hop, Yana was a Grand Finalist of the So You Think You Can Dance Ukraine TV Show. She choreographed and performed extensively throughout the country. Was named to the Top 20 of The Best Dancers Of Ukraine. She has created and has been running the Hip Hop Department at VK Dance since 2017 and has been instrumental in popularizing this genre at our school. Her kids performances are always a highlight of our bi-annual shows.

Originally from Belarus, Vera came to Brake dancing at a tender age of 23 with the background in Hip-Hop. That's right, she didn't start as a child. Yet her competitive accomplishments are astounding: Winner of the Street Sport Festival Cup in Minsk, Winner of the Break Dance Festival of Moscow, Winner of the International V1 Championship in St. Petersburg, Winner of the World-Wide Championship Survive III in the US. Vera also made it all the way into the semi-final of the Breaking USA National Red Bull BC One Cypher. She still actively competes and takes her kids to various competitions in the area and beyond.

Melina joins us from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She started studying Ballet and Flamenco at the age of 6. Later she went on to study hip hop, street, heels, jazz, tap and lyrical at Garcia Carlo Academy, where she received her teaching certifications in 2018. She also studied with renowned TV dancers Mariano Florido, Denisse de la Roche at renowned schools such as La Estacion de Danza, El Club de Danza and others. Melina honed her teaching skills at the same school that she graduated, first as an assistant, then as a beginner teacher and eventually as an advanced teacher. She performed at Teatro Avenida, Teatro la Plaza and Metropolitan and is now bringing her talent and skill to VK Dance.
